Farm Dinner

The 2019 Farm Dinner was held on January 19, 2019. The event was a major success and helped raise over $35,000 to benefit the Gem Valley Farm. 

About the Farm Dinner

The Farm Dinner is a five-course meal prepared by Chef Larry Delgado and Jessica Delgado and staff from and SALT- New American Table. This is the third year that and SALT partner with the Food Bank RGV for the Farm Dinner.   The Dinner features locally grown, natural produce and locally sourced protein. 

The evening begins with a cocktail hour and tours of Gem Valley Farm, located on the Food Bank RGV grounds. Dinner and refreshments are served inside the beautiful and historic, Food Bank RGV building. The event also features live entertainment with talent such as Chris Marshall in 2019 Lauren Corzine in 2018.  

The Farm Dinner  benefit the Gem Valley Farm: A Food Bank RGV program. This program aims to teach about self sustainability, healthy living, and teaches individuals about growing vegetables and fruits.
